The NHPPA has received hundreds of questions from concerned citizens who are genuinely confused about how the law-making power of parliament actually works.

This link is to the parliamentary website’s explanation of the process. There are many variations from the broad themes outlined here.

Much like a sports team coach who uses the rules to advantage, political parties and offices can massage rules to make them fit specific policy goals. Tax planning would be one area of using the rules to our advantage most of us are familiar with.

With that caution in mind, enjoy this lesson in parliamentary law-making 101.

    I rely on natural health product and supplements since my early youth in Germany. I am almost 70 years old (in Canada since 42 years) and do not take any allopathic medicines. Needless to say that I am in exellent health. I have taken on several occasions allopathic medecines againts bronchitis, which had side effects such as ‘double vision, abdominal pain, muscular pain, heart beat” these antibiotics and other aloopathic medecines are largely available on the market due to the lobbying of the powerfull pharmaceutical industry. There are no restrictions although some are very dangerous. For example Viagra and Cialis may cause BLINDNESS and Flomax Heartattack. My wife took Viox over 3 weeks. Her body rejected Viox which is known to cause heart attacks and other side effects. I will contact my member of parliament and protest Bill C51.

    I think this looks like somebody in the Government is going to be very well paid under the table to push this issue ??????? This is another way screw up Canadiens life.I need Natural Health Products for my Heart U F—– A—— in the Government Who ever is involve in this Threat!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We the people, flesh and blood/children of God need to remember that we have the power not the Politicians, they work for us, if they are not doing a good job, we should fire them all! who do they think they are trying to make this a military state? WAKE UP Canada!
