In this new investigative report by Toronto Star’s Jesse McLean and David Bruser, and data analyst Andrew Bailey, read frightening statistics like, “…nearly 400 Canadian cases from 2010 to 2013 that involved a wide and disturbing range of reported side-effects: deaths, heart attacks, strokes, birth defects, organ failures and “spontaneous” abortions.” The fact that these drugs are still on the market is an absurd contrast to how Health Canada handles regulation and enforcement of the exemplary safe and effective status of Natural Health Products.
