Glencolton Farms continues to face a number of legal challenges. The most recent was an injunction that could shut down the farm, its raw milk production, and supply to its shareholder members. At the Total Health Show this past year, we provided a kit to help you contact your MPP with background information on why food freedom, in particular access to raw milk products for farm shareholders, is a constitutional right and to help gain support for food freedom efforts. Michael’s Total Health Show lecture gave greater insight into the issues.
The CFIA’s actions against other farmers, like Montana Jones who raised heritage sheep, is an outrage. Now that this trial for the charges laid against her and Michael Schmidt is over and the publication ban lifted, you can read all about it now and see for yourself how this injustice costs farmers and taxpayers for excessive actions that are not in anyone’s best interest.
