Whole Life Expo Nov 2018 | NHPPA Show Report and Photo Gallery

Shawn Buckley and a few of the NHPPA team were at Whole Life Expo 2018 in Toronto on November 11. Shawn gave an encore presentation of his “Censorship, Science, Belief” talk. We are grateful to Julia Woodford, producer of the Whole Life Expo, for giving NHPPA the platform to share government regulation threatening stakeholder livelihoods of an entire industry, not to mention the majority of the Canadian puiblic using natural health products. These changes will endanger everyone’s access to natural remedies of their choice and funnel the public into a more dangerous model, one of pharmaceuticals.

Shawn Buckley engaged the audience for over an hour with insights on what’s to come with Health Canada’s proposed regulatory changes.

Shawn is known for his ability to make complex regulatory environments understandable and morally compelling.

An anxious crowd gathered outside the lecture room after Shawn’s talk to continue an exchange to understand how the new regulations will impact the natural health industry’s manufacturers, retailers, practitioners and the public.

The conversation continued for nearly an hour.

Shawn’s lecture was recorded (see video below). Watch it to discover how government will limit your access to treatments and important research about them. Censorship of truthful information about natural products will be increased. Science will be used as a weapon to suppress truth. Regulations will restrict the progress of natural health products industry.

Shawn doesn’t lecture with a PowerPoint presentation. But he went all out. One slide held text that read, “Rabbit responding to Health Canada’s plan to regulate natural products the same as chemical drugs!” His lecture explains why the rabbit is having an adverse reaction.
