CHARTER OF HEALTH FREEDOM PETITION PAGE
8 ½ x 11 | ONE SIDED | 1 PAGE | BLACK AND WHITE
The core of your kit to become a Charter Store is your petition station. The Petition for the Charter of Health Freedom will be the biggest in Canadian History, it already has support from coast to coast to coast, and customers want to know where they can add their voice.
Place your petition pages on a clipboard near your cashout, where you can keep an eye on them. Don’t leave them unattended in the store, you will need to offer some guidance to signatories. Have some pens handy and ask every customer whether they have signed it before. Everyone who signs the Charter Petition becomes part of the pushback, if you speak with citizens who are incensed that you can no longer stock a product they wish to buy…make sure to tell them that signing is a way for them to have their voice heard.
There is no deadline for the petition. Save a few pages and mail them to the address at the bottom of each page at your convenience. When the count reaches 3 million, it will be formally presented to parliament as evidence that Canadians demand the Charter of Health Freedom be enacted as law.
Consider printing some extra petition pages and asking your customers to take one, they can collect signatures from their networks.
8 ½ x 11 | TWO SIDED | 1 PAGE | BLACK AND WHITE
Many people ask why we want them to sign a physical, paper petition. The explanation is here. This vital information handout is designed to explain how the Canadian government handles petitions, to answer some frequently asked questions and let your customers know how to keep the pages valid for presentation to Parliament.
Here are the steps for a valid petition page:
- Do not write anything else on the page, the wording must not be altered in any way
- Only one signature per person. The signature count must be from unique individuals to be valid
- The person’s name in capitals must accompany their signature
- A postal address consisting of at least city and postal code is vital to prove the signatory is a resident of Canada.
Make sure that you can supply some information handouts to anyone who takes a petition away to collect signatures, they need to know how to keep it valid.
