Featured in this month’s Common Ground issue is Shawn Buckley’s article “Cutting through Bill C-36 propaganda.” In the article Shawn outlines why the main justifications for Bill C-36 are misleading. Shawn states, “It is simply not true that, in 2010, Canada does not have tough consumer safety laws. The big difference between Bill C-36 and our current laws is the abolition of the rule of law.”
