The concept of banning natural health products to protect the safety of Canadians is absurd. NHPPA confronts the absurdity and recommends the addition of the Charter of Health Freedom which actually serves to protect us.

It is on record that many people have died from eating peanut butter and taking acetaminophen. Even with the available evidence, these products continue to appear on our grocery store shelves. The risk of being struck by lightning is 27-28 times greater than that of being harmed by a natural remedy, but the “danger” of a dietary supplement is made to seem much higher. Parsley has never been shown to endanger lives, but Health Canada believed encapsulation without expensive safety and efficacy studies was precarious, so it became a heavily regulated product.

If you agree that none of this makes any sense, get your NHPPA T-shirt and rustle some feathers.

Get dressed and get loud with one of four available designs.
