You will begin to notice a new mailing address and new telephone number on our emails and printed materials, as our administrative operations have moved from British Columbia to Ontario.
Until the end of last year we occupied office space generously donated to us by an industry stakeholder, but the lease on that facility came to an end. Rather than spend donated funds on premises, we chose to move, and are now sharing different office accommodations. This decision means that every donated dollar will still go to our core work, supporting you in the ongoing demand for health freedom.
After taking the top of this year to smoothly transition into the new space, our funds remain earmarked for weekly disseminating of support information to citizens contacting NHPPA to join the movement via email and phone; providing direction to natural health retailers and organizations for independent actions; creating material for NHPPA’s website and distributing specific content to those who request it. We also spend our time and donated funds advising stakeholders, preparing and running campaigns, preparing for and attending consumer tradeshows and contacting individual MPs to discuss getting behind the Charter of Health Freedom for eventual introduction to Parliament.
We plan and organize Shawn’s radio interviews, educate and alert the public through updating our Facebook and Twitter sites to parallel our campaigns, as well as coordinating Shawn’s lecture schedules. With our legal team, we continue to fine tune the research on the legal challenge for its imminent launch and, with great care, we receive and manage Charter of Health Freedom petitions coming in daily from across the country.
Funds have not been diverted towards administrative or property costs with this move and will continue to solely support the hard work of building, advising and supporting the great network of citizens we see taking action each and every day.

BUT WHAT ABOUT PETITIONS WITH THE OLD ADDRESS?
Our mail will be redirected until December 31st, 2012, so any petition sheets you have mailed recently, or any you have distributed to your networks will reach us safely. We were also most concerned about the security of the petition. The first 85,000 signatures are safely stored in Kamloops. When you download new petition sheets from either the NHPPA or Charter of Health Freedom websites, you will notice they have the new mailing address at the bottom.
