The “Say Goodbye” postcard campaign was launched in June 2023 and has only continued to pick up momentum ever since!
In a remarkable effort, as of January 2025, over 2.5 million postcards have been printed and distributed to health food stores and natural health clinics across Canada. This nationwide initiative, spearheaded by the NHPPA, has successfully reached every Member of Parliament (MP), amplifying the voices of Canadians who are passionate about securing access to affordable and high-quality natural health products.

NHPPA is asking our supporters to help bring awareness to the general public about the fact that a government clampdown on Natural Health Products could come any day, and that we need to take action now, BEFORE any further regulations are passed.
With the legislation on the table, it may not be long before the products many Canadians rely on will be out of reach cost-wise and even worse – unavailable, due to the unwillingness of manufacturers and retailers to put their businesses on the line.
The “Flow Chart” shows the steps that will occur once Health Canada’s regulations come into effect. Costs will first increase for businesses, those costs will be passed on the consumers, and products will start to disappear from the shelves. The result? Less choice!

The second postcard, launched in August 2023, highlights Health Canada’s “misinformation” to help you engage your MPs on the topic of protecting access to NHPs.
The third postcard in this series showcases that “NHPs are safer than food” and how unnecessary additional regulation of the Natural Health Product industry is.
The fourth and newest postcard in this series is directed specifically at our Canadian Prime Minister. This postcard asks that he “Please help save our NHPs!”

NHPPA has organized the shipping of bulk orders of our postcards to retail stores and practitioners’ offices through existing distribution channels.
Please note: NHPPA cannot ship small quantities of postcards to individual citizens. If you are a citizen, please print your own postcard at home or visit your local health food store or natural health clinic to pick one up.
Both retailers and practitioners are integral to the natural health product industry in Canada.
Each and every time the natural health community has stood up against the Canadian government, natural health retailers have played a key role in helping the movements reach critical mass. Retailers interact with many members of the public who have a personal interest in protecting access to natural health products.
The combination of Bill C-47, the Self-Care Framework, and the expansion of Vanessa’s Law will handcuff many natural health care practitioners by limiting the types of natural health products that can be used in Canada and the breadth of information you can share with your clients/patients about natural health products. As a natural health care practitioner, you have a personal interest in sharing these postcards with your clients/patients. You need to ask them to help protect your ability to continue practicing with relative freedom.

During past postcard campaigns, citizens have gotten very creative. We’ve seen our PDF postcard files be turned into lawn signs, stapled to phone poles, hung on community boards, and left in windshield wipers!
Although we encourage civil disobedience, please use the appropriate discretion when distributing these materials. We love to see individuals finding new and unique ways to share important messages with their fellow Canadians! So, be sure to take photos while you’re taking action and then submit them to our postcard gallery or tag us in videos and photos across social media
