Bill C-47, intended to budget annual federal spending, has sneakily included changes to the Food and Drug Act.
These changes will impose pharmaceutical drug penalties on natural health product (NHP) companies, with excessive fines of up to $5 million per day.
This is outrageous, given that NHPs pose far less risk than pharmaceutical drugs — or even food!
