Charter of Health Freedom Petition Count Update Apr 13/16

COHF April 13 2016 Website Post 500 x 500THE LATEST NUMBER OF CANADIANS SUPPORTING THE CHARTER OF HEALTH FREEDOM BY SIGNING ITS PETITION IN A SHOW OF SOLIDARITY STANDS AT 95,129.

We hit 95,000 signatures at the Total Health Show this past weekend! We collected more signatures, from people *just* finding out about Health Canada’s inappropriate drug-style regulations for Natural Health Products, than we did in the last four show years. We’ve waited to present this petition to the House of Commons since our chances of being heard by the Conservatives may have been limited. Even as unwanted trade agreements loom, the ideas in the proposed Charter of Health Freedom would speak for many Canadians. We’ll be asking you to forward Liberal MP’s names for consideration to take the Charter, with the petition, to Ottawa. The petition is only 938 signatures short of becoming the second largest federal petition in Canadian history.

Can You Take A Picture? Apr 13/16

Can You Take A Picture Website Blog Post 500 x 280 April 2016

A LOOK AT YOUR RIGHT TO PHOTOGRAPH IN CANADA

Scott Olson, a photographer for Getty Images, was arrested while covering protests in Ferguson, Missouri, in mid-August. Police shoved him into the back of a police van; he was later released. Olson’s crime, apparently, was that he was taking photos across the street from a designated “media area” police had told reporters and photographers to stay within.

Olson’s arrest was by no means the only harassment of journalists during the Ferguson protests. According to a Vox Media report , a police officer threatened to shoot one reporter live-streaming video. Another Vox report said police roughed up and arrested reporters from the Washington Post and Huffington Post and tear-gassed an Al Jazeera America camera crew.

GOVERNMENT DELIBERATELY HIDES TRUTH IN ORDER TO CONTROL US AND DOES SO THROUGH THE IDEA OF “SAFETY”.

NHPPA’s  at this year’s Total Health Show is protecting your basic food rights with Canadian raw milk advocate and freedom of choice icon, Michael Schmidt! Michael is one of NHPPA’s heroes, yet we miss Shawn! We have censorship material from last year leading yesterday’s booth visitors to ask about a repost of Shawn’s lecture. It’s disturbing but a must see. Shawn opens by defining truth, secrets and transparency. He encourages you to examine your beliefs and shares examples where Canada’s drug approval scientists were directly threatened and censorsed by Health Canada authorities. He also tells you that, “You might be surprised to learn that doctors do not put much weight on the expensive double-blind clinical trials conducted to get drugs approved by Health Canada and that a significant number of prescriptions written by doctors are for conditions for which the drugs being prescribed have not been approved. This is called off-label use.”

Total Health Show 2016 NHPPA Show Report and Photo Gallery Apr 10/16

Total Health Show Photo Gallery Post for Website 500 x 500

BIG RESPONSE TO NHPPA’S WORK AT THE TOTAL HEALTH SHOW IN 2016.

Since Shawn was unable to attend (he was defending David and Collett Stephan), we had the pleasure of hosting, as our “surrogate” Shawn, well-respected and recognized dairy farmer-activist, Michael Schmidt. Shawn was to speak on topics that Michael was involved in, which made Michael a natural choice for the presentations. Our focus was on illegal surveillance of citizens, criminal charges against Michael and Montana Jones in the “sheep napping case” and the raw milk — freedom to choose what we eat — battle. Some of our new materials and campaigns reflected these subjects along with our long-standing commitments to support of those who require full access to NHPs for their wellbeing.

Enjoy NHPPA’s 2016 three day Total Health Show Report and Photo Gallery!

As always thanks goes directly to our funders who make it possible for us to educate. Thanks also to all NHPPA supporters who use our material and direct their energy to share the truth among their personal and professional spheres of influence.

TELL THE GOVERNMENT TO REJECT THE TPP

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is being sold as a ‘free trade deal’ between 12 countries that would help exports, but really, it’s a dangerous, costly, and outdated deal that will have far reaching impacts on our daily lives and the future of Canada.
