…to a roundtable conversation with several prominent Canadian herbalists, herbal medicine manufacturers and distributors, and practitioners utilizing herbal medicine.
Join us on May 15th at 3:00pm ET / 12:00 pm PT for a roundtable discussion tailored specifically for herbalists and those who use herbal medicine. We are pleased to welcome the following professionals:
- Rick DeSylva, Registered Herbalist & founder of The Herb Works
- Alison Ritchie, Herbalist & founder of Grand Voyage Herbals
- Caitlin Rivett-Carnac from St. Francis Herb Farm
- Ashley Wulkan, Clinical Nutritionist & Herbalist
As you likely know, under Health Canada’s Self-care Framework, herbal remedies, integral to the practice of herbal medicine, will face regulations akin to over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs, causing many products to disappear.
This roundtable discussion will be a little different from other live calls NHPPA has hosted.
During the call we’ll hear about…
- herbalist’s individual concerns
- their experiences with Health Canada and complying with tightening regulations, and
- their personal motivations for standing up and getting involved in pushing back against overregulation.
