Practitioner
Healing Disability with Iridology and Homeopathy
Diane Elms

Diane Elms, a practitioner based in Ontario, never set out to enter natural health. She was a professional photographer and active mother of three until, at age 35, she developed sudden tingling in her limbs that escalated into chronic pain, spasms, fatigue, and near-paralysis. Over a year and a half, she endured 21 medical tests and consultations, was told she might end up in a wheelchair, and was prescribed only painkillers and antidepressants. Refusing to accept this fate, Diane turned to iridology and nutritional therapy. Within 18 months, she regained her health, reversing her disability and later running marathons at age 60. This profound recovery redirected her life’s path.
In this interview, Diane shares her extraordinary story of recovery and how it shaped her practice in iridology, nutrition, and homeopathy. She recounts her journey of discovering emotional healing and forgiveness as essential to physical recovery, and she describes transformative experiences with clients, including children facing severe illness. Diane emphasizes the vital role of minerals, nutrition, and natural remedies, and how emotional trauma often manifests physically. Her call to Ottawa is urgent: Canadians deserve the right to choose natural health care without government interference. For her, natural products and holistic approaches were not just supportive—they were lifesaving.
