Protection Against Significant Health Risks | Shawn Buckley Explains

PROTECTION AGAINST SIGNIFICANT HEALTH RISKS In this twelfth 1:35 minute video of a 21-part series, Shawn Buckley explains Section 13 of the Charter of Health Freedom, “Protection Against Significant Health Risks.” This section identifies the role of a third party to determine whether or not a natural health product linked to a reported health risk should be restricted. Under the current regulatory structure, Health Canada has the power to take some products off the market without any impartial third party. Natural remedies that can, and have, saved lives are removed from store shelves without any risk analysis. The Charter of Health Freedom creates a Ministry of Wellness to protect Canadians against significant health risks while maintaining a relatively low risk profile on natural health products and treatment methods. To effectively oversee this market, the Ministry of Wellness will make use of the courts to ensure all parties are considered before restricting access to any healing modality that could be saving and improving lives.

As the author of this standalone Act, Shawn Buckley makes clear the key features of each section. He breaks down the proposed legislation into language that everyone can understand. We are already anticipating the thirteenth clip where Shawn will discuss the issue of government powers in Least Restrictive Interference.
