Talk Forum, Homeopathy in Danger, and Your Land

Talk Forum Returns Tonight with A New Guest | Wednesday June 24, 4PM PT / 7PM ET

Medical Anthropologist Sydney Ross Singer on Culture-Caused Disease

Join us live tonight as Shawn Buckley welcomes medical anthropologist Sydney Ross Singer to the NHPPA Talk Forum. Singer holds graduate training in biochemistry from Duke University, a master’s degree in anthropology, and completed three years of an MD/PhD program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He left conventional medicine to pioneer applied medical anthropology, a field that investigates how our own culture makes us sick.

In this timely discussion, Singer explores “culturogenic” diseases; conditions driven by everyday cultural practices rather than genetics or chance. Topics include:

  • How tight clothing and bras impair lymphatic drainage, contributing to breast pain, cysts, toxin buildup, and higher breast cancer risk. Women who never wear bras show rates comparable to men.
  • The hidden costs of sleeping flat, which pressurizes the brain overnight and links to migraines, poor morning circulation, sleep apnea, and more. Simple head-off-bed elevation offers a low-cost solution.
  • The impact of shoes, tight socks, and other garments that restrict circulation and expose us to toxins.

Singer stresses the need to question habits that prioritize fashion, convenience, and profit over human physiology, and highlights simple, empowering changes anyone can make.

Homeopathy in Danger! Online Event | June 25th 4:30PM PT / 7:30PM ET

Seminar on Challenges Facing Homeopathic Practitioners

Homeopathic practitioners across Canada face mounting regulatory pressures that threaten their ability to serve patients. On June 25, join Shawn Buckley for a timely seminar examining these challenges and what can be done to protect access to homeopathy.

This online event brings together experienced practitioners and regulatory insiders to discuss real-world obstacles, patient impacts, and strategies for defending informed choice in natural health.

Meet the Panelists:

  • Elizabeth Chapman ND (Australia) practices on Denman Island, BC. A lifelong user of homeopathy, she trained in Australia and India, and contributed to a clinical trial in Nepal on homeopathic treatment of childhood diarrhea. She treats families, friends, and animals using this gentle, effective modality.
  • Victor Cirone, Registered Homeopath and Clinical Herbalist (Ontario) graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine and holds additional training with Belgian homeopath Anne Vervarcke. With a background in philosophy, communication, Jungian psychology, and psychoanalytic therapy, this practitioner combines homeopathy and herbal medicine to support deep individual and collective healing. She lectures nationally and internationally and is a published author.
  • Basil Ziv serves as Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the College of Homeopaths of Ontario. He brings direct insight into the self-regulatory framework under the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Homeopathy Act, including the College’s mandate to protect the public interest while overseeing professional standards.

Regulatory overreach continues to squeeze practitioners who provide safe, patient-preferred care. This seminar offers a clear look at the current threats and practical ways supporters can help defend homeopathy in Canada.

Your Land: Who Really Owns It? | June 17th 11:30AM PT / 2:30PM ET

The fight for natural health products depends on secure access to land. Farmers cannot grow real food and medicine under constant threat of regulatory overreach and uncertain property rights.

On Saturday, June 27 we are holding our next Your Land event live from the Onoway Community Hall. You will hear fresh presentations from the experts who understand these issues at the deepest level.

What to Expect

  • Shawn Buckley, constitutional lawyer and NHPPA President, on Crown grants, original patents, and how governments have overridden longstanding land rights.
  • Bruce Pardy, Professor of Law at Queen’s University and Executive Director of Rights Probe, on the erosion of private property and the administrative state.
  • Leighton Grey, Alberta constitutional lawyer, Queen’s Counsel, and Status Indian, offering critical insight into Aboriginal title claims and their impact on all Canadians.

Each speaker will take questions live. We close with a full panel discussion featuring Shawn, Bruce, Leighton, and Teresa Buckley.

This event matters. Property rights are foundational to food sovereignty, natural health, and personal freedom. Come for the facts, stay for the solutions, and leave ready to act.

Share this invitation widely. The more Canadians who understand what is happening to land rights, the stronger our voice becomes.
