How? As Shawn explains, “Health Canada is about to turn the doctor shortage into a doctor crisis by getting rid of natural health practitioners such as Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, Homeopaths, and Naturopaths.”
According to the NDP, nearly seven million Canadians do not have access to a family doctor.(1) For many of these individuals, natural health products and practitioners may represent their preferred or only available option for care. So why is Health Canada making it harder to access them?
