Poland is Facing Similar Natural Health Restrictions — And Canadians Are Taking Action
Poland’s lower house has passed the Lex Szarlatan bill. It now sits on the President’s desk. The legislation threatens the livelihoods of thousands of naturopaths, herbalists and complementary therapists and restricts patients’ right to choose natural and integrative care.
World Council for Health Canada has submitted an open letter urging the Polish president to veto the bill before it becomes law.
This is not an isolated case. The same pattern of regulatory overreach is appearing across borders. Access to natural health products and truthful health information remains under pressure worldwide.
