Section 6 of the Charter of Health Freedom states that natural health products and traditional medicines will no longer be regulated by Health Canada under the current Food and Drugs Act. Instead, the Charter of Health Freedom will be the sole Act governing natural health products, traditional medicines and low risk medical devices.
