Shawn Buckley on Body Sovereignty, Medical Choice, and Health Censorship

Fundamental Truths 2026

At the Fundamental Truths event hosted by Jason Lavigne of The Lavigne Show on January 10, 2026, NHPPA President Shawn Buckley delivered a compelling speech on bodily sovereignty, medical choice, and the impact of health information censorship in Canada.

Drawing on legal experience and real case stories, Shawn explains how Canadians are often funneled into narrow medical decisions without access to full, truthful information. He examines how current laws restrict what can be shared about pharmaceutical drugs and natural health options, raising serious questions about informed consent and personal autonomy.

This presentation goes beyond vaccines to explore the deeper structure of Canada’s healthcare and drug approval system and its consequences for individual rights.

Teresa Buckley: Why “Telling People to Tell People” Matters

Fundamental Truths 2026

At the Fundamental Truths event on January 10, 2026, NHPPA Communications Director Teresa Buckley shares a personal message about courage, communication, and responsibility.

Drawing on her experience volunteering with the National Citizens Inquiry and traveling across Canada, Teresa reflects on the emotional impact of hearing Canadians’ stories and the challenge of turning truth into real change. She explains her decision to help bring the Charter of Health Freedom, signed by over 153,000 Canadians, to Parliament through the Natural Health Product Protection Association.

Her central message is simple and urgent: meaningful change happens when people step outside their comfort zones and tell others what they know. Teresa encourages viewers to move beyond fear, break out of echo chambers, and engage in honest, human conversations, reminding the audience that awareness carries responsibility.
