NHPPA Talk Forum LIVE Tonight! | Elliot Overton and Thiamine Therapy
Tonight, Wednesday April 8, 4PM PT / 7PM ET
Could Thiamine Deficiency Be Behind Your Fatigue, Brain Fog, and Chronic Symptoms?
Do you struggle with ongoing fatigue, sleep issues, digestive problems, brain fog, anxiousness, palpitations, or dizziness?
Elliot Overton thinks thiamine deficiency could be the culprit.
In this month’s NHPPA Talk Forum, Shawn Buckley interviews Elliot Overton, a qualified nutritionist, leading expert on thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency, and founder of a specialized thiamine supplementation company.
Elliot explains how modern diets, toxins, and nutrient-depleted food increase demand for this essential nutrient, often disrupting cellular energy production and the autonomic nervous system.
Key Topics Covered
Why thiamine deficiency is far more common than doctors recognize and why standard tests miss it.
How low thiamine affects mitochondrial energy, nerve signalling, and the parasympathetic “rest and digest” system.
Real patient recoveries from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, POTS/dysautonomia, neuropathy, and even Parkinson’s-like symptoms using targeted high-dose thiamine plus cofactors (B-complex, magnesium, potassium).
Why It Matters Mainstream medicine rarely looks for nutritional root causes, leaving Canadians trapped in symptom management. NHPPA fights to protect your access to natural health products and informed choice. Understanding thiamine could give you a powerful, safe tool the system overlooks.
Livestream: Wednesday, April 22, 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET at nhppa.org/live

Shawn Buckley Speaks at Alberta Elk Farmers Annual Conference
NHPPA is placing growing emphasis on supporting Canadian farmers. After all, every natural health product begins with high-quality, nutrient-rich ingredients grown or raised on Canadian farms.
At the Alberta Elk Farmers event, NHPPA maintained a prominent table featuring advocacy information and NHPPA swag. Dozens of farmers and attendees signed up to subscribe to our newsletter, showing strong interest in protecting access to natural health products and defending informed choice.
This marks an important step forward. Farmers are on the front lines of producing the raw materials that Canadians rely on for natural health. Regulatory overreach that threatens natural health products also threatens the freedom of farmers to grow and raise food without unnecessary interference.
Stay tuned for more updates on natural farming in Canada and how NHPPA is working to support producers who prioritize quality, transparency, and freedom.

We called on experts across Canada to submit formal briefs to the Standing Committee on Health in support of Bill C-224.
As of today, eleven expert briefs have already been written, published, and will be read by members of the Standing Committee on Health. You can see them here. NHPPA’s official brief can be read here.
So far, one of these briefs (from the Association pour la santé publique du Québec) is against C-224, and there might be more on the way! So this is your moment to add your voice. The Committee needs to hear from professional organizations, researchers, clinicians, and other qualified experts on why protecting access to natural health products matters.
Bill C-224 addresses the harmful regulatory changes buried in the 2023 Budget Bill. Your brief can help reverse those changes and safeguard informed choice.
We have made it straightforward to write your own brief. Our detailed guidance shows you exactly how to structure your brief and submit it properly so it is accepted and published.
But you don’t have to be an expert! Everyday Canadians can submit a brief outlining the importance of NHPs for their own lives.
Take action today. Follow our instructions and submit your brief before the deadline.
Every expert submission strengthens the case for health freedom in Canada.
